Aspen Skyline Lounge
A members-only rooftop above Istanbul, conceived as a refuge from the view rather than a vehicle for it — the skyline framed, not chased. DIUM’s scope ran from the plan and the bar to lighting, joinery, and loose furniture.
The composition follows an Art Deco discipline, and the brass gantry designed to crown the bar is the one element the space is built around. Light is kept low, and the furniture sets out a sequence of private worlds within the one space. The intent is permanence in a typology built for novelty.
